John Taylor Solo

John Taylor (real name, Nigel John Taylor was born June 20, 1960 in Birmingham, England) is the bass guitarist and co-founder of Duran Duran. John was also involved and founded the two supergroup side projects: Power Station and Neurotic Outsiders.

John Taylor played with Duran Duran and it's various lineups from the beginning in 1978 until 1997, when he left to pursue a solo career in music and film. He made a dozen solo releases (albums, singles, and video projects) through his company TTP "Trust The Process" during the next 4 years, had the lead role in the film Sugar Town, and made appearances in half a dozen other film projects. He rejoined Duran Duran for the reunion of the original five members in 2001.
